@thecreativeone It may be, but I think Apple might have rounded the number up a bit…

I don’t see how 200 apps / second is that unbelievable.
There are 120,000,000 iOS devices out there, so it’s pretty easy to figure that 200 people can be in the App Store downloading an app, all of the time.
But indeed 6.5 Billion App downloads is huge.

The Apple TV is far better in the US at the moment than in the UK..

We have no TV show rentals, no Netflix (they could’ve put in LoveFilm streaming..)
Basically, for us, it’s movie rentals, and that’s it.

Also, we have to pay more than the US for the hardware.
    What a joke :(

@kippis05 I think as with most apple devices, you need to try one out first hand before u say that :]

@MarkPMus Just get an iPod classic and rip your CDs at a higher kbps than iTunes default of 128kbps :p

@vantageIIx I have a Classic and do rip CDs at full AIFF quality, but it’s no patch on a good CD or vinyl system. iPod quality is poor. Visit my channel and hear (as much as even crappier YT sound quality will allow) the sound of vinyl being played well – not at ultimate quality but good. Try Kula Shaker Modern Blues. Then try and tell me that iPods (and equivalent other MP3 players) are progress. It’s quicker to make money on impulse purchases, that’s all. Ping is that policy incarnate.

Gang, please make sure that when you watch David’s videos, his user name is thecreativeone. There is an imposter who is lifting his videos and reposting them as tthecreativeone (2 t’s at the beginning). This twat is then reporting the real thecreativeone for copyright infringement. Very dirty! So make sure you watch the real deal!

Bro… I freaking love your videos! You’re basically the only Apple person who has lots of Apple things who I’m not jealous of. Man, I wish I hadn’t sold my iMac G5… ok. sorry, got a little off topic there. anyways, keep up these videos. They’re quite good!

mmmm i have the ipod nano 4g (the one with the smaller screen but still a rectangle) and the new ipod nano is cool and all but the screen is really small. It’s bad enough when you try to watch videos on the 4g.

You were right! App store is 2 years old. I really thought that it was older than that… I remember getting my first gen iPhone in what seems like forever ago. And btw nice mug.

I wish Apple would actually make an iPod that is good at making music. If I wanted a clock or a camera I’d buy that. With each successive update the gizmos multiply and the sound quality cheapens. Let’s have an audiophile iPod, capable of playing high quality codecs at a decent volume. Then music mastering would improve because they squash the dynamics and make CD’s LOUD for the iPod. Put the same music on a CD player and compare! Get real Apple, you are actually ruining music!

I think the nano looks good but I think a price reduction is in order due to the fact it has a smaller screen no video playback and no video camera.

I think everything Apple updated and announced was great, but I honestly don’t see the new iPod Nano taking off. To me it’s just another version of a shuffle, plus multi-touch on a 1.54 inch screen would be very awkward in my opinion.
