The current “Facebook Integration” settings page has a different interface and fields to fill out… Specifically the Tab URL field is different.

is march 30, in 2:51 the tab field is different… this is the full path of the iframe.
the page on the server can’t be static(.html, .htm). Use dynamics pages (.aspx, .asp, php)

Why does my facebook tab url is blank. Your video has a facebook.com[canvas]
my app doesnt have that and it also has a secure tab url that you do not have.

I get error “oops!!! page not found” when attempting to test the app.
    appreciate any help

Question: Do you have the redirect script that once the visitor likes the page, it refreshes to the next step (same tab) in the process ie an opt in form, contest rules etc. Cant seem to figure out that next step. thanks

    Nope

@nomsiano You’re right you will need your own website. If you don’t have any webspace to upload your own content too then you cannot do it.

This is straight forward and clear if you have a website. But what if i don’t have a website where do i load my contents from?

    Thanks

This is really useful and clear. But I’m going to ask a dumb question.

I understand that it’s basically a web page stored externally being pulled by iframe in to Facebook.

What happens if I want , for example, 6 html pages that I want to pull in to Facebook. Do I need to create 6 tabs or will those pages be pulled in to the same frame??

By the way, you say width 540px. I thought it was 520????

    Thanks again!

David thanks for this great tutorial. I’m just about to tackle the issue. I just thought you might like to know I picked this up from the Social Media Marketing Group on LinkedIn.

I’m glad to hear that I can get back to you on Twitter if I need further assistance. Good man!
