Even though he has a shady past I think he would do well in politics. It’s about time we had someone who was motivated by compassion.

@stitcha123 I think they were giving out to him for something to do with continuity.. I dunno what though.. maybe the gesticulating.

These clips were quite interesting. I discovered Stephen Fry’s work (especially QI – which is not shown on Canadian TV) mainly through YouTube clips and Twitter and it strikes me that without these I would probably only know of him as a sort of character actor for his work in popular films or as that guy who had a TV show with House. I’m much richer for having a bit of a larger picture of Stephen Fry.

I don’t think there’s any reason to worry about Stephen’s sudden slimness, at least I hope there isn’t. Looking slim and healthy and young, Stephen, and genius, as always. Bless.

Of course it cuts when he’s starting to get interesting.

What does he have to say about internet and government?

I guess BBC didn’t like what he said and decided to cut the interview there. :-(

Though I’m glad that our news isn’t limited to relying on network TV and newspapers anymore, I think a world in which the only news available is from citizen journalist/bloggers has a lot of significant drawbacks. Expert voices could be drowned out; news sources would become even more tailored to the consumer’s viewpoint, making opinions more entrenched and less challenged. There’s a lot of banal idiocy in newspapers, but compared to the internet’s vast banal idiocies it’s at least manageable

I think the internet is great but I do not like idea of reducing my social network to a screen in the bigger sense.

    Dear Mr Fry,
Just in case you actually read comments. You are regarded in my family as my Brain Boyfriend. I am a happily married man whom myself and my wife realize that I love your brain. And I am worried. You look rather slim. And although I am all for ones efforts to make one healthy, I am disturbed. Are you ok?

It was from a BBC technology interview. I’m not sure if they’ll release the full thing.
