www.tweettwins.com Giapo is a unique and popular Italian gelato store in Queen Street, Auckland. The owner affectionately known only by his store name, “Giapo” is an avid user of Social Media tools to communicate with his many customers. It is a two way channel where he engages with them and listens. Giapo points out that he does not not use Social Media to push pricing or buy buy buy messages. In the time the Tweet Twins were in the store we saw a very off line social atmosphere, where friends called in to say hi, hugs and waves were given, a nearby store owner came in needing some first aid items. The Tweet Twins works with companies and business owners to empower them to incorporate Social Media as a strategy to improve their company’s performance and ultimately improve their bottom line.
